So-Val Tel Federal Credit Union strives to protect, preserve and safeguard the assets of its members/owners, to educate and help improve their financial condition with personalized service from a dedicated staff and officials.
Our History
In October 1953 seven Pacific Telephone employees in Fresno with $35.00 between them applied for a federal charter to form So-Val Tel Federal Credit Union. The Field of Membership at that time consisted only of Pacific Telephone employees and their immediate family living under the same roof. The geographical area was and still is 6 counties in the San Joaquin Valley (Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Madera, Merced and Mariposa ).
